With every new connection there is opportunity for growth, and knowledge to share.

Links to Studios, Mentors, and Friends

The Clay Studio - My current studio home has so much to offer the community of Philadelphia, PA through education, Claymobile outreach, artist programs (like the Work Exchange, in which I'm involved), and exhibition.

Deborah Schwartzkopf - Owner of Rat City Studios, has a real knack for community building. She puts an immense amount of effort into making every endeavor the best it can be. Be sure to check out her amazingly extensive "Resources" tab.

Taylor Robenalt - Co Founder of Ceramic Sculpture Culture, was the first person to introduce me to the larger ceramics community. As my professor near the end of my undergraduate studies she took me to NCECA and The Alabama Clay Conference, encouraged the pursuit of my next steps, and never fails to tell me about the real world.

Rickie Barnett - Figurative sculptor and current assistant to Cristina Cordova, is a dear friend from Rat City Studios who is always good for a beer and some perspective on life.

Kyungmin Park - Member of Ceramic Sculpture Culture and 2016 NCECA Emerging Artist, was my Undergraduate Ceramics Professor in handbuilding and intermediate throwing. She taught me the foundation of my skills and that I can always be improving.

Vanessa Norris - Potter with her "head in the clouds", was my partner in crime during my time at Rat City Studios. She can now be found working away to set up her own space, Dirty E Studios in Everett, MA.

Nelson Grice - Playful sculptor of Ceramics and Bronze, was my first example of what a teaching and practicing artist could look like, at Hoover High School. Though he was never my teacher, he let me spend my lunch in the classroom to keep working on my projects.
